BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS

My name is Gregory Quinlivan. I now live in Qionglin Township, Taiwan. My Chinese name is 匡貴禮. 

UPASAKA EXPERIENCES:
I have studied the basic doctrines of early Buddhism with the International Buddhist College of Thailand, and meditation with the Vipassana Fellowship of London. I have had discussions with monks in Australia, Malaysia and Thailand, and read widely, particularly in the Theravada tradition. In early 2012 I went on yatra to the main pilgrimage sites in northern India. In March 2019 I took the Five Mindfulness Trainings at the Plum Village Temple, Lantau Is., and was given the Dharma name "Radiant Sincerity of the Heart".

CURRENT CHALLENGES:
- practising mindfulness and meditation more regularly
- studying and applying the insights of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh
- reciting and practising the Five Mindfulness Trainings and the Three Jewels regularly

ACTIVITIES:
